Blackwood Chesapeakes was established in 2000 and since then we are very proud of our accomplishments. Our "kids" are proving themselves in and out of the showring. We are striving to produce a well rounded, versatile family companion or hunting partner.
We are a small family oriented breeding program that focus first and foremost on health and temperament. Our dogs are definately living up to their Chesabar name and in doing so, I will always be thankful to Patsy & Rudy Barber.
